how to shop
The U.ME.US Food Pantry is a free, shopping cart style environment located at 2830 NE Flanders Street, Portland, OR 97232. Entry is on NE 29th street. Click here for our hours.
1:15pm: Doors Open
(Note: We lottery until 1:30pm when shopping begins. Anyone arriving after 1:30pm will be added in the order of arrival)
1:30-3:30pm: Shopping
(Note: If you arrive by 3:30pm you will be able to shop)
Guests are welcome to enjoy coffee/snacks while waiting for their turn to shop. When it’s your turn, you will use a shopping cart to move through the food stations and choose the food you would like from what is available in each station.
Required to Shop: First and Last name, including Zip Code. No ID or proof of income required.

No. We are an in-person, self-shopping pantry — we DO NOT offer delivery services.

Yes. Each station will have food items available to pick from. Food options vary weekly based on donations and deliveries.

Our food comes from Oregon Food Bank, Fresh Alliance Food Partners and outside donors.

No. There is no pre-registration or RSVP. Shopping is first come, first serve.

No. A first and last name and ZIP code are the only things required to shop. No ID is required. No proof of address or income is required.

The 19-Woodstock/Glisan Bus Line runs down Glisan with a stop on 30th. Look for the U.ME.US sign on the side of the 2830 community building on the corner of 29th and Flanders. Our building has a ramp on 29th for those with disability.

No permit needed on Food Pantry Sundays.
